Internal & External Vacancies at Lagos University Teaching Hospital

Applicants are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the undermentioned positions in the Lagos University Teaching Hospital.

CONSULTANTS in the following specialities:

● Anaesthesia  

 ●Orthopaedic & Traumatology

● Anatomic & Molecular Pathology  

● Paediatrics

● Family Medicine  

● Preventive Dentistry

● Haematology & Blood Transfusion  

● Radiodiagnosis

● Internal Medicine  

● Restorative Dentistry

● Medicine (Rheumatology)

● Obstetrics & Gynaecology

Applicant should have at least one-year professional experience and must be fully registered with the Medical & Dental Council of Nigeria.

Evidence of having completed NYSC is mandatory.

Success at the Part Il Examination of either the West Africa or National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria is mandatory.

MEDICAL OFFICERS in the following positions:

● Medical Officer for Accident & Emergency (Adult & Children) Department

● Medical Officer for Family Medicine Department

● Medical Officer for Haematology & Blood Transfusion Department

● Medical Officer for Medicine Department

● Medical Officer for Intensive Care Unit

● Medical Officer for the Paediatrics Department

● Medical Officer for Medical Microbiology & Parasitology Department

● Surgery Department

● Candidate must possess an MBBS degree from a recognised Institution and must have registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria. Possession of the National Youth Service Discharge or Exemption Certificate is mandatory. Candidate must possess the current practice licence of the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.

PHARMACIST

The candidate must possess a bachelor's degree in pharmacy or a doctor of pharmacy (Pharm D.) from a recognized university and must have successfully completed a one-year internship programme at an approved institution Candidate must be duly registered and possess the current practice licence of the Pharmacist Registration Board of Nigeria.

SALARY: CONHESS 09 (N2,388,908 — N883,238,831) per annum and other allowances as approved by the Federal Government.

RADIOGRAPHER

Candidate must possess a good Bachelor's Degree in Radiography (B.RAD) from a recognised University and must have successfully completed one-year internship programme in an approved Institution. Candidates must be duly registered and possess the current practice licence of the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria.

SALARY: CONHESS 09 (N2,388,908 — N983,238,831)per annum and other allowances as approved by the Federal Government.Clinical Pathology Department

PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Candidate must possess a good Bachelor's Degree in Medical Rehabilitation (Physiotherapy) from a recognised University and must have successfully completed a year internship programme in an approved Institution, Candidates must be duly registered and possess the current practice licence of the Medical Rehabilitation Therapist (Registration) Board of Nigeria.

SALARY: CONHESS 09 (N2,388,908 ~ N893,238,831) per annum and other allowances as approved by the Federal Government.

MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENTIST.

Candidate must possess a good Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science from a recognised University and must have successfully completed one-year internship programme in an approved Institution. Candidates must be duly registered and possess the current practice licence of the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria.

SALARY: CONHESS 09 (N2,388,908 - N83,238,831) per annum and other allowances as approved by the Federal Government.

SENIOR NURSING OFFICER.

Candidate must possess a Bachelor of Nursing Science Degree (B.NSc) not less than second class lower division/credit grade from a recognised University and must have completed a one-year post-graduation Internship from a recognised Institution. Candidate must be duly registered and possess the current practice licence of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.

SALARY: CONHESS 09 (N42,388,908 — N983,238,831) per annum and other allowances as approved by the Federal Government.

SENIOR NURSE TUTOR.

Candidate must possess a Bachelor of Nursing Science Degree (B.NSc) not less than second class lower division/credit grade from a recognised University and must have completed a one-year post-graduation Internship from a recognised Institution. Candidate must be duly registered and possess the current practice licence of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.

SALARY: CONHESS 09 (N2,388,908 — N983,238,831) per annum and other allowances as approved by the Federal Government.

NURSING OFFICER II

Candidate must possess a Registered Nurse (NRN) plus Registered Midwife (NRM) or equivalent qualification from a recognised Institution. Candidate must be duly registered and possess the current practice licence of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.

SALARY: CONHESS 07 (N81,871,883 — N82,533,504) per annum and other allowances as approved by the Federal Government.

HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT OFFICER I

Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Health Records or Health Information Management from a recognized University and must be fully registered with the Health Records Officers Registration Board of Nigeria. The candidate is expected to possess the current practice licence

SALARY: CONHESS 07 (N1,871,883 ~ N82,533,504) per annum and other allowances as approved by the Federal Government.


HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGIST II

Candidate must possess a Higher National Diploma (HNO) in Health Records or Health information Management from a recognized Institution and must be duly registered with Health Records Officers Registration Board of Nigeria. The candidate is expected to possess the current practice licence

SALARY: CONHESS 07 (N1,871,883-N2,533,504) per annum and other allowances as approved by the Federal Government.
