We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Nursing Team Supervisor

Main Objective of the position
● Plan, organize, and assess nursing activities and team activities in alignment with MSF values, policies, protocols, and universal health standards, ensuring quality care, continuity of services, and effective implementation of the action plan.
General Accountabilities
● Carry out the functions and tasks associated to nursing i.e. perform as a nurse, whenever required or needed, in order to optimize the resources, contributing with knowledge and experience.
● Ensure implementation of protocols, hygiene procedures, and team adherence to quality standards.
● Organize team schedules, evaluate performance, and identify training needs to maintain high-quality care.
● Manage pharmacy and medical equipment, including stock orders, inventories, and expiration monitoring.
● Ensure staff are trained in medical device use, cleaning, and maintenance; report malfunctions.
● Coordinate administrative tasks, data collection, and reporting to support decision-making and project tracking.
● Perform nursing duties as required, ensuring optimal resource utilization and high-quality care.
● Implement protocols, hygiene procedures, and supervise team adherence to standards.
● Organize team schedules, assess performance, and identify training needs.
● Manage pharmacy, medical equipment, and inventory, ensuring timely replenishments and proper usage.
● Coordinate administrative tasks, patient documentation, and reporting for decision-making.
● Supervise patient care in ATFC, ensuring adherence to MSF protocols, including anthropometric measurements, triage, and treatment plans.
● Oversee nutritional program, monitor RUTF distribution, and supervise nursing care standards.
● Provide training and coaching for MoH staff and junior nurses to maintain quality care.
● Foster community engagement and collaborate with local health leaders and teams.
● Collect and report operational and patient data, preparing regular updates for the Outreach Nursing Activity Manager.
● Ensure patient orientation and effective caregiver communication within the ATFC.
● Lead and supervise the ATFC team, monitor performance, and manage staff logistics and attendance.
Requirements and Qualifications
To apply for this role applicants must meet the following criteria:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing (essential)
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, including 1 year in a supervisory role, particularly in nutrition programs.
Languages: English and Hausa language essential
Knowledge: Desirable computer literacy (word, excel).
