How can you make a difference?
Work Assignment
● To develop Ghana School-based Food and Nutrition Education (SFNE) standards, competencies, and materials.
● Draft a manuscript summarizing the process and findings of the previously conducted capacity needs assessment in school-based food and nutrition education conducted in the the previous phase of the work.
● Support the Ghana Health Service and Ghana Education Service to establish a national multi-sectoral School food and nutrition coordination body.
● Lead the process for developing supplementary/complementary teaching materials for the existing curriculum.
● Lead the pilot of the implementation of the newly developed standardised nutrition education materials in selected schools.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
● An advanced university degree (Master’s level) in Public Health, Public Health Education, Nutrition, Social Sciences or Education.
● A minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience at the national or international levels with a focus on education and the development of age-appropriate curriculum.
● Fluency in English is required.
Desirables
● Experience in providing technical guidance on public health policy and or education policy in Ghana, a strong asset
● Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergency is considered an asset.
