Job Title: Registered Pharmacist
Location: Abule Egba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Core Responsibilities
Dispensing Medications:
● Accurately filling and dispensing prescriptions.
● Ensuring medications are stored and handled properly.
Patient Counseling and Education:
● Providing information about medications, including dosage, administration, potential side effects, and interactions.
● Answering patient questions and addressing concerns.
● Educating patients on proper medication use and storage.
Collaboration with Healthcare Providers:
● Communicating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure appropriate medication use.
● Reviewing prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
Quality Control and Safety:
● Ensuring the quality and safety of medications.
● Monitoring for medication errors and adverse events.
● Participating in medication safety initiatives.
Record Keeping and Documentation:
● Maintaining accurate patient records, including medication profiles and dispensing records.
● Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
Other Responsibilities:
● Managing inventory of medications and supplies.
● Assisting with administrative tasks, such as answering phones and processing insurance claims.
● Overseeing and training pharmacy technicians and interns.
● Administering vaccinations (depending on the scope of practice).
Requirements
● The candidates should possess a B.Pharm Degree with 7 years work experience.
Salary
● N200,000 - N300,000 monthly.
